Prescott Guide invites you to experience the culture and arts of Prescott.
The Mountain Artists Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, support and training in the entire realm of the visual arts. Prescott Guide introduces the Mountain Artists Guild, celebrating 70 years of art in Prescott!

Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott, since 1949, has been involved with the visual arts through exhibits, seminars, workshops, scholarships, and practical experience and training in the creation of artistic works.

Mountain Artists Guild also offers “Open Studios.” These are available in several media and different formats. These studios provide the encouraging presence of other artists in various stages of creative development. They promote a relaxing, non-judgmental atmosphere and opportunities for helpful interaction with and motivation from other artists.

The Mountain Artists Gallery & Gift Shop provides a place for emerging artists of all media to:

  • Display, promote and sell their work in a fine art gallery setting
  • Learn such necessary skills as quality matting and framing
  • Learn about the display and presentation of fine art
  • Enjoy regularly changing exhibitions. Each exhibition gives members the opportunity to display and sell at least one art piece.

There is a traditional and festive night every year in Prescott, which features local talented musicians. Of the many outstanding attributes of Prescott, the geological beauty is one of the most notable. Prescott Guide invites you to see for yourself the unique features of Prescott. Granite Dells Prescott is a mile-high city, boasting scenic areas of pine forests, lakes, hills, and interesting rock formations. Granite Dells, just north of Prescott, is perhaps one of the most unique areas, with its lumpy, pink boulders that seem to rise out of the Watson Lake and Willow Lake areas. Peavine Trail winds through the area, named because its shape is that of a pea vine. Granite Mountain Just a short distance to the west, Granite Mountain stands at 7,628 feet and covers approximately 12 square miles. Granite Mountain has a cliff that is known to be one of the best rock climbing locations in the state of Arizona.
